Happy Memorial Day Weekend

Well it has been pretty cold for the past few days, but we certainly can't complain about the weather here!  I thought I'd share a few pics of our latest projects outside of the house.

Here's the new flower bed brick border, with an added flower bed on the side of the house.  We planted some wildflower seeds, so it's still a little bare.  In the meantime I transplanted a few hostas that were growing like weeds in the back yard.

This is the left over brick.  We are planning on adding a brick driveway out in the back.

Of course I have to include a pic of the girls.  (This is before the brick border was leveled and glued together.)

And just today the trellis on the front porch was secured.  As you can see, it really gives us a little more privacy from the convenient store next door.  Hopefully the clematis planted below will grow quickly and make it look even nicer.
